Early Explorers

(ages 0-3s)

Fun weekly groups for parents/carers and babies and toddlers up to 3 years. Each week we explore fun and different ways parents/carers can support baby’s learning and development.

When your child is up on their feet, the whole world changes for them, and you. Young children need lots of different activities and strategies to help them find out about their world. These sessions provide information about how your child is learning and what you can do to help, spot the signs of them being ready for the next stage and tips and activities to keep them busy.

Early Explorers groups are a great opportunity for parents to meet each other and find out about ways they can support their little one’s learning and development. We know this is an important time of a child’s life and parents can make a huge difference. These free sessions are full of fun ideas and activities to do at home with your child.

No need to book, just pop into any group.

Grandparents Group

(age 0-3s)

Open to grandparents only and their grandchildren up to the age of 3. Lots of fun ideas and activities.

As well as children making new friends, it’s a great opportunity for grandparents to connect and share their experiences.

Story Explorers

(age 0-2)

These free story and rhyme sessions for you and your baby are held in the comfort of your own home! You know how important it is to share books and stories with children from a very young age and the benefits this brings. Your Story Explorer volunteer will bring lots of great activities and ideas to support your child’s love of books from an early age, with a gift for all families on the last visit.

Active Play

(age 2+)

Three fun sessions packed with loads of ideas to get your little one moving, while promoting their physical development. For children aged 2+ and their parent/carer. There’s a free rucksack for every family, with useful items to make your own games and keep those muscles moving.

Dates will be added to our Events page and mentioned on our Facebook page as soon as these are confirmed so you can book your place.

Little Talkers

(age 2)

For 2-year-olds who have scored an Amber rating on the WellComm screening. This five-week course has been carefully designed to help parents to support their child’s communication skills. Lots of useful tips and fun activities to get involved in.
