Diwali is the Hindu Festival Of Lights and takes place between October and November, but the exact date varies each year as the Hindu calendar is based on the moon, this year Diwali is Thursday 31st October – Friday the 1st of November. Families come together to celebrate, they give presents and decorate their houses with bright lights.
