How will we Know if We're Effective?
Be part of our Research!
The Trust puts parents and carers at the heart of our programmes and we want to know whether our project is having a positive impact.
An essential part of our project is to measure the effect of the work we do with families. When a family joins our groups or our Bump Start programme, they will be asked for their authorisation to allow the Trust to coordinate with the nursery settings and with health visitors to access information which is already being collated about their children. The Trust staff will also ask parents to complete questionnaires so we can see whether our services are meeting their objectives. The information we gather will used to influence early years policy.
We are working in partnership with Liverpool Hope University’s Faculty of Education, Early Years department to discover more about why parents enjoy coming to groups and what parents think about the offer of free nursery care for two year olds. We would like to invite parents to participate in this research. If you are interested
please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Trust abides by the 1998 Information Protection Act to ensure that all information collected is processed in way that protects families. If a family chooses not to be part of our research project, they are still welcome to join our programmes.
As a thank you, each parent will be included in a monthly prize draw for a £20 gift voucher.
